How will changes be managed?
We want to ensure that there is consistency and the least possible disruption to peoples lives. We will work with the people involved, their relatives, advocates and staff on how to best support people to get better lives. Robinia are going to try to make sure that any changes are as smooth as possible for everybody involved.
Robinia are commited to supporting and training employees to facilitate and manage change as this will be one of the biggest challenges. The inclusion of the people supported in the recruitment of the staff who support them is a major part of offering choice and giving people control of their own support
What will happen about staffing?
Local recruitment and local jobs for local people is fundamental to our approaches and as an organisation we offer attractive packages and benefits to all of our employees. We have a range of options for recruitment, detailed in the policies and also have access to recruiting staff from overseas as a backup to local recruitment if required, adding diversity to our workforce.
